Garden furniture allows people to relax and enjoy nature for hours on end. In order to get the most out of garden furniture it's important to take care of it and keep it well maintained. This way the furniture can last for generations.

Gardeners with wooden garden furniture should apply protectants at the beginning of each season. Also, check the manufacturer's instructions for any special maintenance tips. Usually it's best to keep wooden furniture beneath the overhang of a porch so that it can be protected from the elements

If wooden garden furniture is exposed to rain or dirt, be sure to wipe it down. Also, clean it once a month with a soapy cloth and use a wood cleaner. Any time the furniture will not be used for months at a time it should be stored beneath an overhang and/or covered.
