Garden Supplies

Garden supplies help a gardener maintain their garden and also provide decoration. Utilitarian garden supplies include a rake, hand tools, seeds and more. Decorative garden supplies include wind chimes, garden fountains and birdfeeders.

Garden supplies must be well maintained. For example, any tool with wooden handles should have the handles occasionally sanded down to prevent splintering. Also, gardeners should apply a coat of linseed oil to the handles to prevent cracking.

Decorative garden supplies require less maintenance. Still, it is a good idea to wipe them down to prevent dirt buildup. Also, check to see if wind chimes are rusting. Consider moving them to a different location if they are.
